I suspect there’s no Seoul timezone because under the hood, that *is* the default timezone – and they’ve simply changed it to read Pyongyang in the translation. The timezone values in the OS (even across OSes!) are standardised for various cities, as in many cases they need to carry DST dates etc. Adding a custom one is probably messy but removing a standard one sounds like asking to break things.

I think the Red Star developers would keep Seoul AND a custom timezone for Pyongyang if they could – easy way to label Seoul as part of their own country…

This isn’t a pirated copy of mac os x, it is a linux distro, made to copy the interface of mac os x. (If you don’t believe me, there are people who did an even better job at faking mac os x within linux)

Oh my God, why is everything that has to do with North Korea so simple, honest and beautiful? I am falling in love with this people.
As a Siberian, it does not happen often to me, to admire another people for its strength.
North Korea has much to teach to the West.

Therefore I hope cooperation with Russia, if possible with the Russian Far East, keeps being upheld and enhanced on all levels.

I thank you wholeheartedly for this article and this website!

North Koreans buying a Japanese products ? SHAME and TRAITORY

I am convinced that existence of DPRK is strongly supported by enemies of Korea (unified korea).

This brings tears to my eyes. Koreans should support other koreans first.

What if. North Korea pulled there own plug. motive: to blame the US for the hack, thus escalating tensions reverberating through his populous to unite them against someone doing harm to their internet. How would you feel if your Internet and 3g was not available. Secondly, he prevents his own users from accessing “the interview”
He is quite devious you know. Ask his uncle. Oh yea. Sorry he murdered him. Stranger thinks have happened.
