I saw the TV report last year of the factory, it looked almost identical to the eeePC, with an operating system similar to the old Xandros + iceWM based one (possibly the OS is built on the DPRK’s own Fedora-based Pulgunbyol instead of the Debian-based Xandros, if it is/was the DPRK’s plan to create a national Linux packages repository — then it makes sense if all computers take .rpm instead of .deb).
